Emily has been working within the realm of mental health and well-being since 2021.
Emily Fazio is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student attending the University of Toronto and previously studied Social Psychology at McMaster University. When she is not in session, you can find Emily in the kitchen baking her favorite sweets or visiting various coffee shops around the city.
She has experience with supporting individuals ages 16 and up who are navigating anxiety and depression using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques. Emily's sessions are goal-oriented, which helps monitor and track progress over time. Her approach is centered around creating a warm, safe space to collaborate,explore your distinct story and find the path that leads you closer to your goals. Emily works to weave in creative techniques tailored to each person's interests, values, and needs.
Emily specializes in supporting parents with ADHD or those parenting children with ADHD, offering compassionate, trauma-informed and strengths-based care. She provides goal-oriented sessions to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, and parenting challenges. Emily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to foster personal growth, self-awareness, and effective coping strategies

I'm excited to offer my support to clients across Ontario and British Columbia, and am available to meet on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between the hours of 12pm-7pm PST.
