Meet Dallas

Dallas Davidson MSW RSW
Co-Founder and Owner of Arktos

Dallas specializes in supporting those with: Adult ADHD, Substance-use/misuse (and other addictive behaviours), depression, anxiety, divorce, new-dads/parenting, self-esteem, grief/loss and trauma.

Dallas utilizes a number of theoretical frameworks, focused through a Trauma-Informed lens, including:  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.  Dallas has received additional training and certifications in Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapies and Conflict Resolution therapies. 

Dallas also facilitates a few of the groups/workshops at Arktos, including the Adult ADHD Bootcamp and Rad Dads support group.

Meet Nicole

Nicole Withers MSW RSW

Nicole specializes in supporting children, young people and their families.  Her areas of expertise include: parental coaching, attachment, gender and sexual diversity, body and brain connections, traumatic experiences, communication, conflict resolution and decision making. 

Nicole has training and expertise in using: Play therapy, Acceptance and Community Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavioural Analysis,

Trina MacLean BA ACC

Trina Maclean is an experienced personal development and career coach specializing in empowering adults with ADHD, particularly in overcoming challenges related to procrastination and executive functioning. With personalized strategies and compassionate support, Trina partners with clients navigate obstacles, cultivate resilience, and create fulfilling, purpose-driven lives.


Trina brings a wealth of coaching expertise to the table, spanning across general business, life and career coaching, specialized ADHD coaching, parent coaching, as well as trauma-informed practices.

Meet Laura

Laura Schutz MA Clinical Counselling, CCC

Laura specializes in supporting adults and adolescents with symptoms of anxiety and depression, grief/loss, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and self harming. Laura also supports parents as they navigate some of the challenges of parenting teens.


Laura has been trained in using a number of different modalities including: cognitive behavioural therapy (including trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy), dialectical behaviour therapy, emotion focused family therapy, and solution focused brief therapy

Meet Annie

Annie Brebner MA, RCC

Annie specializes in supporting 15-60+ year olds experiencing symptoms of ADHD, stress, depression, anxiety OCD, general interpersonal difficulties and life transitions.  

Annie has extensive training and experience working with CBT and uses a non-judgemental approach to collaborate on individual needs.

Annie is also supporting participants of the ADHD Bootcamp and ADHD Life-Maintenance workshops and groups

Meet Melanie

Melanie Abbott MSW RSW

Melanie specializes in: supporting military personnel and first responders, adults experiencing anxiety, depression, Adult ADHD, PTSD, post-partum depression/anxiety, and addictions. Melanie also has experience working with individuals of the LGBTQ community and is trained to conduct hormone readiness assessments for adults in the Province of BC.

Melanie uses a strengths-based approach to counselling (believing that everyone has the capacity for healing and wellness within them). Additionally, Melanie uses various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Melanie is also a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist with training in conducting virtual EMDR

Melanie runs our Changing Your Relationship with Anger workshop/group and our 4 week CBT group for anxiety: Don't worry about it! Melanie is also facilitating our EMDR Info Sessions!

Meet Daniel

Daniel Afram MSW RSW
Co-Founder of Arktos

Daniel specializes in supporting: childhood developmental trauma, addictions, grief and loss, and other mental health issues (i.e. depression, anxiety).

Daniel uses a trauma focused theoretical framework and has formalized training in Play Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
